Sevilla v. Yogusuk, Multnomah County Case No. 18CV38070
Defendant Yogusuk rear-ended Plaintiff Sevilla on NE Sandy Boulevard as Sevilla was stopped to make a left turn. Sevilla claimed that the crash caused her a cervical sprain, concussion, severe migraines, and a knee injury. She claimed that the headaches are likely to be permanent. She sought $400,000 in non-economic damages and $61,111.99 for past and future medical expenses.
Defendant Yogusuk claimed that the crash was, in part, the fault of Ms. Sevilla for not using a turn signal and not turning left when it was safe to do so. He also disputed the extent of Sevilla’s injuries and damages.
