Plaintiff Vetere was stopped for traffic when Defendant Dickson rear-ended him. Vetere claimed the impact caused him musculoskeletal injuries to his back, neck, hips, and ribs. He sought $10,000 in non-economic damages and attorney fees according to ORS 20.080.
