Dillard v. Crane Inc., Multnomah County Case No. 19CV36516
Plaintiff Dillard worked at an aluminum plant for many years and claimed that he came into contact with asbestos during that employment. He brought this case against numerous companies that he claimed were engaged in the manufacture and distribution of asbestos and asbestos-containing products that he came into contact with. He claimed that the asbestos caused him to acquire mesothelioma. He sought $3 Million for past and future lost income, $3 Million for past and future medical expenses, and $10 Million for non-economic damages. Dillard’s wife sought $10 Million for loss of consortium.
Defendant Crane Inc. denied that Dillard came into contact with any of their products that contained asbestos.
