A Streetcar Named Defeat
Tell v. Castillo, Multnomah County Case No. 17CV09791
Plaintiff Tell was a passenger on the Portland Streetcar. Defendant Castillo was parked along the side of the road and opened her door directly into the path of the streetcar. The streetcar struck Castillo’s open door. Tell claimed that the crash resulted in a jolt which caused him substantial neck pain as well as emotional distress and mental anguish.
