Defense Verdict in Delayed Infection Diagnosis Case
Clark v. Legacy Mt. Hood Medical Center et al., Multnomah County Case No. 18CV32260
This was a medical malpractice case in which Plaintiff Clark alleged that Defendants failed to diagnose an infected abscess in Clark’s foot. Clark alleged that the delay in treatment was below the standard of care and that it caused him to undergo numerous surgeries and suffer permanent disability to his foot. Clark sought $600,000 for past economic damages, $2,500,000 for future economic damages and $4,000,000 for non-economic damages.
Defendants denied that their care was below the community standard of care or that their care caused injury to Clark.
