Decedent Wong went to Defendant Portland Adventist Medical Center (PAMC) suffering from pneumonia and respiratory failure. While there, Wong was put on a feeding tube. Plaintiff alleges that the feeding tube was placed negligently and that complications from the placement caused Wong's death. Plaintiff sought $500,000.00 in non-economic damages.
