Plaintiff Dunn was stopped at a red light when struck from behind by defendant Brown. Plaintiff alleges soft tissue injuries to her neck, back, and shoulder along with disc bulges and protrusions from C4-C7 requiring a disc replacement surgery. She sought damages including medical expenses ($103,680.76), impaired future earning capacity ($250,000), and non-economic damages ($450,000). Defendant alleges that she was stopped behind Plaintiff when Plaintiff may have had trouble with her clutch and lurched back into her.
