Unoccupied Car Rear-End Crash Case
Miller v. Nelson, Multnomah County Case No. 18CV40383
Plaintiff Miller had just handed her keys to the valet at Providence Portland Medical Center. She was on the curb next to her car when Defendant Nelson hit it. Miller claimed that the crash caused her to by physically startled and suffer from stress cardiomyopathy. She sought $19,626.54 for past medical expenses and $100,000 for non-economic damages.
Defendant Nelson denied liability for the crash and also denied that the collision caused any injury to Miller.
